Dr. Craig may accept requests for gender-affirming care letters when the request fits her clinical scope and current state licensure. These requests are handled outside the standard VA intake flow.
Letter requests that may fit
- Letters supporting gender-affirming surgical care
- Second-opinion letters requested by a surgeon or insurer
- Letters connected to ongoing care with an outside clinician
What the evaluation involves
- Clinical interview by secure telehealth
- Review of relevant treatment or referral information
- Application of current WPATH SOC8 criteria where applicable
- Written letter for the requesting provider, team, or insurer
Practical limits
- Evaluation location must match current licensure.
- Fees and timing are quoted before engagement.
- The public VA pricing does not apply to these letters.
