About Ingleside
A focused forensic practice for psychiatric opinion work.
Ingleside Health is the forensic evaluation service of Betula Mental Health PLLC. The launch focus is VA psychiatric records review for veterans, attorneys, and accredited claims agents.
The work is independent. Ingleside does not file claims, represent veterans, or sell a promised result. The opinion is based on the records and Dr. Craig's clinical judgment.

Dr. Laura Craig is board-certified in General Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Laura Craig
Psychiatrist, medical reviewer, and independent evaluator.
Dr. Craig received her B.S. and M.D. from Texas A&M University and completed psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
After residency, she became the first full-time psychiatrist at Howard Brown Health. She later served as head of psychiatry there and helped grow the department from two staff members to a team of seven psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
Dr. Craig has also worked full-time at the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a focus on trauma and PTSD in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood. Her private clinical practice, Betula Mental Health, serves people located in Illinois and Texas.
Why a separate name
Betula Mental Health is Dr. Craig's clinical practice. Ingleside Health is the name used for forensic records review and opinion work so the scope is clear from the first contact.
How the work is framed
Ingleside reviews the submitted records, identifies gaps or questions, and prepares a signed clinical opinion only when Dr. Craig can support it.
What it is not
It is not claims representation, legal advice, VA employment, or a guarantee that the VA will reach any particular decision.
